Indigenous Leadership
At UC, we are seeking to set a new benchmark for impact for all people through Indigenous Leadership. The Office of Indigenous Leadership collaborates with staff, students and partners to create opportunities for change and progress.
The Snow Scholarships
Achieve your potential and help your community with the support of a Snow Scholarship.
Designed to support students from Canberra and regional NSW who face financial, social, or cultural barriers to university, the Snow scholarships are worth up to $90,000 each over three years.
If that sounds like you, this could be your chance.

Welcome from the Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Leadership
Yumalundi!
That’s welcome, in Ngunnawal language.
At UC, we want to walk with and work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to create a better future.
To do that, we need to understand, grow and celebrate Indigenous leadership – which we do through our courses, our research and programs that partner with community.
We have adopted an outside-in approach. We are demonstrating our commitment to helping improve the lives of First Nations people by listening to communities, empower Indigenous people and work together to create solutions.
Because we value Indigenous knowledge and Indigenous culture, our approach to Indigenous Leadership involves sharing opportunities and cultural insights with all people – both in Australia and internationally. First Nations people have rich cultures, knowledge and also potential – and UC is committed to building networks and opportunities that enable growth.
We are privileged to be based on Ngunnawal country, with the opportunity to share and engage with First Nations people from across Australia and around the world.
So whatever your language, whatever your country, we look forward to welcoming you to engage with us at UC.
